It just keeps getting Better and Better

I brag on my Launch team all the time, but I am so proud of them.  We have been planning and putting details together over the past two weeks.  The Awestruck team is amazing!  The ideas and the dreams they have for our church blow me away.  We are beginning to see what Awestruck is going to look like and discovering how to make it happen.  I get pumped every time we write something new on the white board.  Oh yeah, we are using a white board!  The ideas are flowing and the excitement is growing.  God is so amazing!  He has assembled the perfect team to start this new church.  Awestruck is going to be soooooooo great.  Eastern Guilford county is not going to know what hit them.  I cannot wait to be the pastor of this amazing movement of God.  Our desire is to be all that a church should be…

 We believe church should be:

Real, Welcoming, Exciting, Fun, Refreshing, Challenging, Understandable, Livable, Impacting, Relevant, Encouraging, and Life Changing!

 We are trusting God for all the answers to all of our questions.  We are believing He is going to open all the doors that we need opened.  We are overwhelmed with anticipation of all the lives that are going to be changed and people that are going to impacted through what He has called us to do.  Get ready….Awestruck is coming soon!

There is no I in TEAM..

email-logo.jpegBut there is in WIN!  We had another amazing launch team meeting on Wednesday night discovering where each person fits and how they can make an impact through Awestruck.  The question we are answering is “How do I fit in”.  I am so proud of the team that God has surrounded me with.  These guys are committed to living out the Awestruck vision and dedicated to the vision of our church.  We began discussing what Awestruck should be and how it should function.  I have to tell you that it is going to be amazing.  We have some great ideas about what church should be.  I cannot wait to see what God has in store for Awestruck.  I am blown away everyday at what He is doing.

Where do I fit?

Cool Expresso MachineTonight was an incredible meeting with our launch team!  We began the process of discovering where everyone fits into this journey.  I got so pumped as each person shared their passions, desires, strengths and talents!  The puzzle is actually coming together in ways I would have never imagined.  Each person brings something completely different and useful to Awestruck.  I am so thankful for each person on our team.  I went down to evaluate two locations for our coffee shop today.  We mentally sketched out the layout and design of each place.  We have two excellent choices to decide on.  I love it when God intervenes and takes you from having nothing to having to make a choice.  There is nothing more exciting than dreaming and planning for the vision God has placed in your heart.  I am discovering everyday that we are right smack dab in the middle of God’s will, and He is doing some amazing things!
